Thanks for checking out our Puerto Rico “watersports” retreat home. This home has been a great getwawy for us over the past years offering us easy access from the Midwest, a laidback simple lifestyle, and some of the most beautiful ocean access directly out the front door. The home is located in a small fishing village directly next to La Parguera. It is about a 4 mintue drive or boat ride from the center of La Parguera. We actually discovered Papayo on our boat when cruising around the reef near La Parguera, a small village hidden between two hills with a white sand beach. Our focus in the area was for Kiteboarding, and this area offers some of the best wind and water conditions for the sport that we have seen anywhere in the world. In addition the diving is world class, sailing, sea kayaking, and all around exploring is amazing. On this site you will find many more details about the actual village and area. Here are some of the basics.

At this time we would like to exclusively offer you the chance to purchase our home directly from us, at a reduced rate, and ready for you to utilize as your kiteboarding or watersports vacation destination as we have for the past 6 years. We were the first people to actually live in the house after a brand new construction, due to a divorce the previous owner had to make the sale and get rid of his vacation beach home. We are the second owners of the home. Here I will list some features of the home:

The home includes

-Two bedrooms fully furnished. One with a bunk style bed both with double beds. The other has two single bunks and one double bed. Sold complete with mattresses, pillows, and all blankets.
-Two full bathrooms. One inside the house and the other is in the outside garage area. There is also an exterior shower which is great for rinsing off after long days on the water.
-Pull in garage and storage area. Large enough for 2 full size vehicles.
-Full kitchen with all appliances, plates, pots, pans, silverware, and much more.
-Full entertainment center with couches and TV


Along with the home we will be giving the following items to the buyer

-18ft original Puerto Rician boat, made of wood with 50hp Yamaha motor, works perfectly
-14ft fiberglass boat with 2007 25hp Mariner engine.
-Chevy Astro mini-van. Needs a bit of love but will get you from one place to another.
-Life jackets
-Other Misc water gear

You can trust we have taken care of the home very good over the past years and will be sad to see it go. We could see someone purchasing the home for personal use and family vacations or for a group of guys who love the ocean, wind, and warm weather who all want to chip in for a vacation retreat. What type of a place is La Parguera?

In two words: Caribbean Dream. Once a fishing village, La Parguera retains its seaside charm, with modest, brightly painted homes; colorful bougainvillea shrubs; a miniature plaza; and a backdrop of rural hills. Inviting inns and guesthouses, restaurants and water sports operators cater to visitors, and everything is a short walk from everything else. Go during the week if you want the village to yourself; on weekends it fills up.

Offshore, coastal mangroves shelter a great variety of young marine and bird life. The nearby bioluminescent lagoon, where all moving underwater objects become instant glow sticks, has awed vacationers for decades. Regularly scheduled boats take passengers on enchanted nighttime rides. By day, you can rent a kayak or small boat at the piers and explore the more than 30 cays that seem to float offshore. For a 'disneyesque' sort of adventure, explore the mangroves near shore.

The continental shelf that wraps around southern Puerto Rico is closest to shore at La Parguera. Divers thrill to some of the healthiest reefs in the Caribbean, and aficionados rank La Parguera among the top dive destinations in the world. A fabulous selection of wall dives showcases 120 food deep rocks, vertical cliffs, and many underwater rarities. Beyond the continental shelf, large deep-sea fish such as dolphin fish (mahi-mahi), Wahoo, blue marlin and tuna abound. Local water sports operators make any adventure in La Parguera easy.
